Freshman Julie Tostado is a member of the volleyball and basketball teams and is a student council representative for her class.  “I am really happy and kind of excited that I was selected to be the student of the month,” she said.  Julie is the daughter of Santa and Oscar Tostado.

Sophomore Abby Burkhead participates in basketball, is the volleyball manager, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is the sophomore class secretary.  “This is an honor - and the best thing ever!” she said.  Abby is the daughter of Rachel and Robert Stretch and Chris Burkhead.

Junior Marae Mattice is a member of the cross country and softball teams, the International Club, the National Honor Society, the prom committee, and student leadership.  “I’m happy that I was selected for this,” she said.  Marae is the daughter of Marylee and Michael Mattice.

Senior Chandler Johnson participates in basketball and track and field, is a mentor, and is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America.  “I’m happy that I was elected because it makes me feel like I’m making an impact in school,” she said.  Chandler is the daughter of Leisa and Vern Johnson.

The ‘Student of the Month’ quality for November is caring.
