Welcome to my website! I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I graduated from Janesville High School in Janesville, Iowa in 1973. In high school I learned to love the study of history and civics. I also was involved in athletics in high school where I wrestled, played baseball and helped coach football. To this day I a big Iowa Hawkeye fan and still follow high school and college wrestling. Later, I graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 1977. I earned my B.A. in Behavioral Sciences Education Concentration and began teaching in various small towns in Iowa. In 1981, I moved to Rillito, Arizona and started teaching at Marana Public Schools. In 1994, I moved to Benson and began teaching at Benson Public Schools. I have taught at risk students at Benson High School as well as with San Pedro Valley High School. Currently, I teach Economics, US/AZ. Government and credit recovery classes.
